It all started with wanting to ride from Land’s End to John O’Groats. When that wasn’t far enough I came up with a silly idea of going from Portugal to Germany. So in May 2016 I spent 6 weeks riding from Porto to Munich. I wrote about it as I went along, and wrote a postmortem on how it went.
